The coup in Honduras is an attempt by imperialist governments, led by the United States, to try to roll back and ultimately defeat the popular revolt sweeping through Latin America. The ultimate goal is to defeat the unfolding Venezuelan revolution. However US imperialism doesn’t always get what it wants and the coup is still being fiercely resisted by the popular masses in Honduras. This Socialist Alliance meeting will discuss the coup in Honduras and the role of international solidarity in defeating the coup.
