This rally is organised by Save Safe Schools: a broad alliance of organisations and individuals fighting for the full restoration of the Safe Schools Coalition.

The Turnbull Liberal Government has announced both sweeping restrictions, and an end to all federal funding, of the Safe Schools Coalition Program. This is a disgraceful attack on LGBTIQA+ youth.

We just had a fantastic rally. But we need another one! One isn't enough to save the safe schools coalition. It's time to hit the streets again. Bring your friends, coworkers, fellow students, and anyone who cares about LGBTIQA+ youth. Be out, loud and proud. Make your own sign. If you belong to an organisation, bring a banner. Let's show the government what we're made of!
