People's Climate Mobilisation: Sun 21 Sept
[Information from People's Climate Mobilisation. Check here for information about mobilisations around the country.]
Join people from all walks of life as we call for urgent action, not words, to create a world that works for people AND planet.
On September 21, we join hundreds of thousands of people around the world in calling on our leaders to commit to bold climate action at the UN Climate Summit.
Our message is simple and clear: we want a safe climate future.
To achieve this goal, we call for:
1) Tony Abbott to put real climate action on the G20 agenda
2) Strong Renewable Energy Target and a timeline to reach 100% Renewable Energy ASAP
3) No new coal or gas projects
This will be a fun, family friendly event with loads of opportunities to learn about how YOU can take effective personal and collective climate action.
Let's make sure the world knows we take our climate seriously!
